**Work Tasks and Responsibilities**
As a Ramp Agent, your work tasks will be physically demanding and include:
* Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
* Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
* Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
* Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
**Work Environment and Scheduling**
Our Ramp Agents work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including early morning to overnight shifts. Each station is unique, with its individual flight schedule, and you'll work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on your seniority. You'll be required to wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety and the safety of others.

**What You Need to Succeed**
To be successful as a Ramp Agent, you'll need:
* Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

* Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
* Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
* Have a valid driver's license.
* Proficiency in English.

* Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
