Position Summary
Face Friends Foundation, Incorporated is seeking a passionate, organized, and creative Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and promotion of our signature fundraising event:
The Queen of the Pitch Pageant
. This volunteer role is crucial for raising awareness and funds to support our mission.
The Project
Manager will oversee all aspects of the pageant, from contestant recruitment and sponsorship acquisition to event logistics, ensuring a high-impact, memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Strategy & Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including milestones, budget management, and timeline for the pageant.
• Event Coordination:
Coordinate all event logistics, including venue scouting and booking, catering, decorations, audio/visual setup, and day-of management.
• Contestant Management:
Recruit, mentor, and act as the primary point of contact for Queen of the Pitch contestants. Develop contestant info packets, rehearsals, and talent show flow.
• Fundraising & Sponsorship:
Identify, cultivate, and secure corporate sponsors and donors for prizes, entry fees, and event funding.
• Marketing & Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the event, increase ticket sales, and enhance organization brand visibility.
• Volunteer Mobilization:
Recruit and manage a volunteer subcommittee (e.g., judges, backstage assistants, ticketing).
• Record Keeping:
Track registration, donations, and expenses, maintaining accurate records in [nonprofit software, if applicable].
• Post-Event Evaluation:
Conduct post-event surveys and submit a final report outlining successes, financial outcomes, and recommendations for future events.
Qualifications & Skills
• Experience:
Previous experience in event planning, fundraising, or pageant coordination.
• Leadership:
Strong project management and leadership abilities to guide a volunteer committee.
• Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational Skills:
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work-streams.
• Passion:

• Tech Savvy:
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace;
experience with Canva or virtual fundraising platforms is a plus.
Time Commitment
• March – July (Planning Phase):
2–5 hours per week.
• August – Event Date (Active Phase):
5-15 hours per week leading up to the pageant.
• Post-Event (Wrap-up):
~3 hours per week for 2 weeks following the event.
