Industrial Engineer II - Store Ops
Position Overview
The Industrial Engineer's primary responsibilities are to leverage engineered labor standards and operational expertise to drive continuous improvement efforts across the broader Store Operations organization. In addition, the IE II will be responsible for identifying and analyzing key metric data to support ongoing operational processes, workload simplification and new initiatives. This position requires problem solving skills and strong analytical capabilities, along with data management and great communication skills.
A Day in the Life
• Lead the development of store processes and build relationships with business partners; develop tools and power points to presents to key stakeholders
• Drive continuous process improvement throughout the entire store operation; inclusive of back of house, sales floor and front end
• Analyze data and store processes with an investigative mindset to identify trends, opportunities and pain points and recommend appropriate action to be taken
• Model different labor scenarios and assess the impact of the changes to influence business outcomes and deliverables
• Become a SME (subject matter expert) in our labor standards and ensure the proper inputs, maintenance and application.
• Partner with field and store management to ensure accurate labor standards and address outliers; providing feedback and problem-solving recommendations to ensure resolution
• Assist with implementation of new technology or initiatives within the fleet
• Develop best practices based on Engineering statistics and methodologies
You'll Come With
• 5+ years of experience in projects related to process design, work measurement, productivity improvement, cost reduction and project implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related analytical discipline
• Preferred experience working in a retail distribution or stores environment with labor management systems
• Work measurement, standard data, and predetermined time systems and tools (MOST) with an emphasis on time study expertise.
• Interpreting large data sets to uncover trends and actionable insights for strategic decision making
• Ability to independently gather, analyze and interpret information and develop, recommend and implement solutions while maintaining budget
• Demonstrated ability to interact across a broad range of organizational levels and functions
• Ability to analyze process elements, identify waste and efficiency opportunities
• Utilize MS Excel/Access to develop tools for analysis and modeling
• Utilize MS PowerPoint to create clear and concise presentations
• Knowledge of statistics and probability
• Knowledge of LMS and time study software
• Six Sigma, LEAN, or Continuous Improvement training a plus
• MOST training a plus
• Labor Management Software a plus

Compensation Range: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00
