Position: Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) Location: St. Louis Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) St Louis, MO, US, Job Summary St. Margaret of Scotland - Coordinator of Religious Education St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Parish is seeking a passionate, Faith-Filled Coordinator of Religious Education. This position will be a part of the administrative team of both St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic School and St. Margaret of Scotland Parish. Job Responsibilities Essential functions of the position include the following: • Facilitating the Faith Formation of students, faculty, and staff, including reviewing our curriculum • Planning, organizing, and executing Sacramental preparation, Sacramental services, and Masses for all parish children • Creating and implementing a family faith formation program for school and parish • Planning and executing retreats for students, faculty, and staff • Fostering a connection between the school and the parish • Coordinating weekly school Masses, monthly class Masses, and other prayer services and religious activities • Coordinating religious education for parishioners in our public schools • Overseeing the implementation of Theology of the Body in the day schoolJob Requirements Candidates should be practicing Catholics willing to help build St. Margaret of Scotland as a community of Faith. A successful candidate would have a bachelor's degree in theology, catechesis, or education. All candidates must have, are working towards, or are willing to work towards Catechetical Leader Certification. Training and certification in Catechesis of the Good Shepard/Theology of the Body are a plus. The Coordinator of Religious Education will be an integral member of the leadership team garet of Scotland and will work to ensure that we achieve the mission of St. Margaret of Scotland - to create a Catholic urban school in the faith tradition of Catholic Social Teaching and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
