As an Experienced Full Stack Live Chat Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our live games are running smoothly and providing an exceptional experience for our players. **Job Summary:** We're seeking an experienced and skilled Live Chat Support Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Live Ops team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the live games experience, collaborating with our Live Help Product Manager to ensure needs are met, and driving initiatives to improve our live help games. If you have a passion for gaming, a knack for problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities:** * Oversee the live games experience, ensuring that Live Makers are managing live games accurately, including guides, conditions, and release of live updates * Collaborate with our Live Help Product Manager to ensure needs are met and guides are adjusted * Identify and lead key initiatives across the portfolio to ensure our team and engineers have objectives, frameworks, and needs to succeed in live help games * Collaborate with business development and creative teams to ensure we're making the right decisions for our engineers and players, aligning with our overall strategy * Define, develop, and refine the overall live help creation process for the portfolio, including pipelines and cycles to ensure that Live Makers have everything they need to serve players, engineers, and partners * Manage a team of Live Makers, supporting them in their role as our external engineers' primary resource for post-launch releases * Mentor, guide, and lead multiple Live Makers, setting out growth and opportunities for their success while maintaining a good production capacity * Assist Live Makers and PMs in budget management against individual game updates and live assistance plans * Help resolve unique complex product issues through creativity, imagination, and any other means necessary to get the job done. Recognize risks early and frequently and eliminate barriers and execution bottlenecks on a case-by-case basis * Foster strong relationships with internal and first-party studios to establish and maintain a flow of information so we're aligned on frameworks, games, opportunities, and needs * Work directly with business development on designer assessments when necessary and convey production-related issues and feedback to ensure engineers are set up for success before signing * Work cross-functionally to create a strong team culture based on rich communication, transparency, and shared understanding. **Requirements:** * Past Chief Maker or Live Help Tasks Chief experience in a game developer or publisher * Experience in core development and execution, specifically post-launch/live services experience in gaming (console, PC, or mobile) * You have powerful experience supervising the full lifecycle of game development with a particular focus on post-launch live help tasks * Superb knowledge of Live Help creation, the challenges commonly experienced by teams, and solutions tailored to their needs * Experience driving complex cross-functional projects with successful delivery of value, plan, and in adjusting scope, capacity, budget, risk, and time * Ability to influence direction, without relying on positional power * You have an uncanny ability to reach solutions through creative strategies and fostering an approach to set them in motion * You have great communication and can work with various individuals, effectively conveying everything from information to creative feedback * You have several years of experience overseeing direct reports with differing levels of production experience * Passion for games, developments in software, and how they advance the player experience **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary: $20-30/hour * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team * Collaborative and inclusive work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) matching program * Paid time off and holidays * Access to the latest technology and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **About arenaflex:** arenaflex is a leading entertainment and gaming company, dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our players.
