Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members
  • Ability to multi-task, navigate computer systems, and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and maintain confidentiality and security of critical information

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a pet-related industry or with animals, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Knowledge of customer service software, such as CRM systems, and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Certifications or training in customer service, such as CSS or CCE, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Technical Requirements

To perform this role, you will need:

  • A dedicated workspace, free from distractions and background noise, with a reliable wired, high-speed internet connection (minimum 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload)
  • A computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam, which will be provided by blithequark
  • A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication, with the ability to download and use the Okta mobile app
