Salesforce Applications Architect (Remote – must be in the MD/DC/VA area )

Axiom is looking for a remote (must be living in the MD/DC/VA area) Certified Salesforce Application Architect or Solutions Architect to: • Provide technical and architectural leadership for Salesforce applications - focusing on Force.com, Lightning, Omni Studio • Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design • Lead technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, etc., and detailed design specifications for ensuring that architecture standards are followed • Apply research and development, prototyping, and vendor & product evaluations • Provide expert knowledge of application architecture to business and technology teams and facilitate the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practice • Lead development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes • Communicate issues as well as opportunities to leadership and client stakeholders so that technology risks, costs and benefits can be evaluated • Define and validate non-functional (technical) requirements, and establish traceability between requirements and application architecture/design • Anticipate barriers to change and creating opportunities to remove them • Create a culture that is based on knowledge sharing and learning from best practices • Exhibit high level of professional flexibility and willingness to promote innovation and new ideas. • Experience and Requirements: • Must be Certified Application Architect or Solutions Architect • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field • 7+ years of experience in architecting solutions on multiple Salesforce Clouds with an in-depth understanding of several Salesforce clouds; Revenue Cloud highly preferred (Gov cloud and Service Cloud) • 4+ Years of experience building solutions with OmniStudio components. • Proven experience as a Salesforce.com developer using one or more: Visualforce, APEX programming, Lightning, Force.com, APIs, JavaScript, REST, Web Services and other web technologies. • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. • Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience. • Experience with enterprise data management and migration • Passionate about solving tough problems. • Experiences with integration platforms, specifically Mulesoft • Local to DMV area Desirable: • Certified Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer 1 and 2 • Certified Omnistudio Developer • Bachelor's/Postgraduate degree, or professional qualification Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
