As an AmeriCorps Program Coordinator with Reading Partners, you will play a vital role in leading the coordination, operations, and relationship development of our one-on-one tutoring programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and operations of Reading Partners' tutoring programs at a school partner
- Provide ongoing tutoring to students and manage student and tutor data records
- Forge and maintain positive relationships with students, families, tutors, and school staff
- Guide, coach, and provide feedback and ongoing support to volunteer tutors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- US Citizenship, Permanent Resident Status, or US National
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Commitment to successfully completing a full term of service (1,200+ hours)
