School-Based Paraprofessional Job - Part Time

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Paraprofessional to join the team at a local school district in the area. This full-time, onsite position is an excellent opportunity to support students in their educational journey and make a meaningful impact in the classroom. Key Responsibilities... • Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities. • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them understand and complete assignments. • Monitor and assist students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess. • Support students with special needs by adapting materials and strategies to meet their individual requirements. • Caseload may include student with severe behaviors (Hitting, Biting, Spitting, Running). • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred. • Experience working with children in an educational setting. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Toileting and diapering may be required • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students succeed. • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team.
