Sr. Commercial Underwriting (Hybrid & Remote)

Analyze and evaluate complex commercial loan applications to determine creditworthiness and risk assessment.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
Conduct thorough research and due diligence on applicants' financial history, credit scores, and market trends.
Make sound and informed decisions on loan approvals, denials, and conditions.
Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates on loan status.
Review and interpret financial documents, such as tax returns, financial statements, and credit reports.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as legal and compliance, to ensure all underwriting requirements are met.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in commercial underwriting.
Train and mentor junior underwriters, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all underwriting activities and decisions.
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Identify potential areas for process improvement and make recommendations to streamline underwriting procedures.
Work in a hybrid and remote capacity as required by the company.
Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
