We are currently seeking a Senior Complex Claims Adjuster-Mass Tort to join our dynamic team and oversee a portfolio of high-value and complex mass tort claims. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise and knowledge to effectively manage and resolve claims, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients. To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of insurance policies, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate through complex legal and regulatory environments. Utilize expertise and knowledge to effectively evaluate, investigate, and resolve claims. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including prompt and accurate communication and timely updates. Understand and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and liability for claims. Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other stakeholders. Work closely with legal and regulatory teams to navigate complex legal and regulatory environments. Provide guidance and support to junior claims adjusters. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and regulations. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices related to complex claims handling. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all claim files. Collaborate with other departments, including underwriting and risk management, to identify potential risk exposures and mitigate future losses. Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Represent AIG in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
