You will work closely with business partners to understand their needs and develop solutions that address their business challenges. You will also be responsible for learning and adapting to new technologies and business needs, developing and improving processes and systems, and integrating new patterns and innovations where suitable. **Key Responsibilities** * Gather and discuss requirements from Business Partners across verticals like Memberships, Deals, Reverse Logistics, Finance, Item, etc. * Build new data ingestions using a combination of Local AWS services as well as inside arenaflex devices. * Maintain/Improve existing data ingestions and ensure they meet evolving guidelines and corporate directives. * Build/Improve/ Maintain systems or tools for internal team and external partner use to manage data. * Perform Code Reviews and ensure best practices are followed for ETL and Data Cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams. **A Day in the Life** As a Data Engineer II in our Ring Data Warehouse team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and contribute to the development of our unified data repository for Ring. We are a collaborative and dynamic team that is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our business partners. **Essential Capabilities** * 3+ years of experience in data engineering * Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines * Experience with SQL **Preferred Capabilities** * Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Fire Hose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions * Experience in at least one modern programming or scripting language, like Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS * Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object stores, file or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases) * Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js **Compensation and Benefits** arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, sign-on bonus, and other forms of compensation.
