Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior National Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with key accounts across the nation. Your expertise will help drive brand growth, increase market share, and ensure customer satisfaction across our extensive distribution network.

This is a full-time position based in Atlanta, USA, offering a competitive hourly rate of $26 per hour along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional advancement.

What You'll Do

As a Senior National Account Executive at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in shaping our national accounts strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Business Planning: Lead and manage collaborative business planning with strategic accounts to develop and execute comprehensive association initiatives, category projects, and drive brand sales growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Conduct regular client visits and communications to review strategic direction, identify pain points, and discover opportunities for product development and business expansion.
  • Account Strategy Development: Create comprehensive business proposals that include objectives, key initiatives, significant activities, required support, and new product recommendations tailored to each account's needs.
  • Executive Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with all key executives, both internally and externally, to ensure alignment and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate and cultivate relationships with local packaging partners and wholesaler portfolios while building sales capacity and facilitating stewardship discussions.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Develop direct supply chain processes and implement initiatives for driving efficiencies across arenaflex's Product Supply and Foodservice wholesaler operations.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current with competitive activities within responsible geographies and deliver appropriate responses as quickly as possible to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional representatives to ensure arenaflex delivers the full depth and breadth of resources that result in mutual benefits and successful outcomes.
  • Performance Stewardship: Drive stewardship schedules with responsible merchants that measure and communicate each partner's activities against mutually agreed-upon plans.
  • Category Innovation Activation: Activate arenaflex's category innovation—including Free-form, Tea, Revive Server, Juice, and VEB brands—at national and local levels through the Foodservice wholesaler organization.
  • Change Champion: Champion change by removing barriers and addressing ongoing service issues to provide the highest level of wholesaler customer support.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Proven ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex projects effectively.
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience working with suppliers, contractors, and bottlers.
  • In-depth knowledge of supplier capabilities and performance to improve and manage relationships, specifically with foodservice wholesaler providers.
  • Expertise in supply chain operations and transportation, including understanding of transportation planning and management of DPU, Multi-purpose, and Over-the-Street carrier networks.
  • Ability to seek alternatives and recommend best solutions that gain all parties' buy-in and lead to mutually beneficial outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in national account management within the beverage, food, or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth and profitability with key accounts.
  • Experience working with diverse client portfolios including retail, grocery, entertainment venues, restaurants, and more.
  • Knowledge of category management and brand activation strategies.
  • Experience in data analysis and using CRM tools for account management.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
