About the Customer Trust External Relations Team

The Customer Trust External Relations (CTXR) team at arenaflex is on a mission to ensure a positive public perception of our trusted shopping experience. CTXR acts as both an internal facilitator and an external advocate. Internally, we help teams increase positive perceptions of their work and serve as an engine of creative ideas for improving external awareness and enthusiasm. Externally, we engage with thought leaders, policymakers, and media outlets to highlight arenaflex's leadership in business reliability and customer protection. We also facilitate and strengthen third-party consulting and partnerships that benefit our customers and drive innovation in retail.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Content & Communications Writer, you will be the hands-on leader of content strategy, editorial planning, content creation, and content management for some of arenaflex's most visible and influential communications. You will work closely with internal business stakeholders, including product owners, public relations teams, and public policy experts, to develop scalable processes that increase the breadth of information we share with external stakeholders while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Defining and maintaining the bar for external content - Communicating with key stakeholders about the exciting work arenaflex is doing to protect customers from fraud, counterfeiting, and other forms of abuse.
• Assisting CTXR Program Managers and Marketing teams with copywriting - Drafting and reviewing business documents while editing grammar, style, and form to ensure they meet arenaflex's rigorous writing standards.
• Creating comprehensive content plans in collaboration with Customer Trust team program leaders to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
• Leading internal reviews with Customer Trust executives and team leaders to refine and improve content before publication.
• Working with product, technology, and business teams to define content for external stakeholders, ensuring that public perception accurately reflects arenaflex's reality.
• Developing new customer loyalty content including blog posts, newsletters, stories, and press releases that reinforce arenaflex's commitment to customer trust.
• Acting as executive speech writer, including managing the creation and delivery of compelling executive-level presentation materials such as slides, talking points, scripts, messaging documents, and customer stories.
• Networking with internal and external experts to gather insights and information that will enhance your content creation efforts.

What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 3+ years of experience in communications or journalism, with a proven track record of producing high-quality content.
• Experience in corporate communications, public relations, or external affairs - Understanding how to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Knowledge and comfort writing in AP Style - Ensuring all content meets professional journalism standards.
• Experience writing website and/or blog content, including familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) tools.
• Strong understanding of writing for specific target audiences with the ability to adapt voice and tone to match brand guidelines.
• Powerful content creation or background editing skills - The ability to transform complex information into clear, engaging narratives.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will help you stand out:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or a related field (or similar work experience that demonstrates equivalent expertise).
• Experience working within a global team with remote partners - Familiarity with cross-cultural communication and coordination across time zones.

• Experience with markup languages such as HTML or XML - Basic technical knowledge that helps with content management.
