What You Will Do As a key member of our Corporate Accounting team, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities that ensure the accuracy and integrity of arenaflex's financial reporting. Your primary responsibilities will include: - **Owning the Month-End Close Cycle**: You will be responsible for managing the entire month-end close process, including the thorough review of prepaid expenses, accruals, and business ledgers to ensure financial statement accuracy in accordance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). This includes preparing and recording journal entries, such as intercompany entries, and ensuring all transactions are properly classified and documented. - **Preparing Financial Statement Reconciliations**: You will conduct comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy of all accounts and identify any discrepancies. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that our financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory standards. - **Budget vs. Actual Analysis and Trend Analysis**: You will perform detailed budget versus actual reviews, analyzing variances and providing insights into financial performance. These packages will provide leadership with actionable insights into financial performance and support strategic decision-making. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: You will represent Corporate Accounting in cross-functional interactions with various departments, including Sales & Programming Analysis, Financial Applications, Travel & Expense, Treasury Operations, Tax, and regional accounting partners. You will also assist teams in gathering required information for local reporting and compliance purposes. The ideal candidate will have: - **4+ Years of Relevant Accounting Experience**: You should have a minimum of four years of experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate accounting, public accounting, or finance environment. Experience with month-end close processes, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting is essential. - **Strong Understanding of US GAAP**: A solid foundation in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required.
