Director of National Accounts - Off-Premise, West
Job Summary
The Director of National Accounts, West for Off Premise is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and team development of our national off-premise sales function. This role oversees Stateside Brands’ footprint in national off-premise chain accounts and plays a critical role in building long-term, profitable relationships. This individual will develop the roadmap for gaining key packaging authorizations, strategic pricing, POS placement, and overall distribution performance within off-premise national chains where RTDs are sold. The Director will collaborate closely with regional sales teams, distributor partners, and cross-functional departments to drive best-in-class execution across the country. As a builder, this leader will also shape and scale a high-performing team to support aggressive growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive National Off-Premise strategy aligned with Stateside Brands’ long-term goals and growth trajectory.
- Build, coach, and lead a high-impact team of National Account Managers and support roles to deliver sales excellence across the off-premise channel.
- Cultivate and expand distribution in all national off-premise chain accounts, particularly where RTD categories are growing.
- Drive strategic alignment with key distributor partners and regional field teams to maximize execution and visibility in national chains.
- Establish processes to secure packaging authorizations, optimal pricing structures, and compelling promotional features with POS support.
- Act as the lead liaison between Stateside Brands and senior decision-makers within national off-premise chains.
- Monitor, measure, and report on sales performance, volume trends, pricing compliance, and promotional effectiveness.
- Translate insights into actionable plans, continuously optimizing the national account strategy based on market dynamics.
- Ensure consistent brand standards and priorities are upheld in all customer-facing activities.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Commercial Strategy teams.
- Represent Stateside Brands with professionalism and credibility at all times, including at industry events and customer meetings.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience within the alcoholic beverage industry, including at least 5 years managing people and overseeing national accounts.
- Proven success building and scaling high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of the off-premise national chain landscape, RTD trends, pricing strategy, and distributor networks.
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, improving execution standards, and developing scalable systems.
- Exceptional relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret data and drive strategy.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, VIP, and other relevant tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationally as needed.
- Military experience is a plus.
Compensation
- Estimated Base Salary Range: $170,000-190,000 USD.
- Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
- The salary range refers to base salary only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.
