MarTech empowers teams to strengthen customer engagement across all touchpoints through data-driven, multichannel strategies. By leveraging advanced marketing technologies, it enables customer insights, optimized journeys, and full transparency of key performance metrics, delivering a comprehensive 360° customer view.
This role is responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing MarTech solutions that help business units effectively measure and improve customer and lead journeys. This supports the creation of personalized, high-performing campaigns that build long-term customer relationships and drive revenue growth through cross- and up-selling.
Acting as a central technical hub, MarTech brings together expertise in tracking, measurement, and multichannel marketing, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent value and impactful customer experiences.
Key Result Areas
- Proactively contribute to agile methodologies and formats
- Utilize current digital-, customer-, and market-trends and be ahead of marketing technologies to identify digital product growth opportunities
- Map suitable analytics solutions, ensure that all required performance data can be reliably tracked, reported and guarantee an integrated approach with other agile teams
- Support the analytic
- needs of business units by analyzing web traffic using Google Analytics
- Design appropriate measurement strategies and implement complex tracking solutions through Google Tag Manager
- Develop GA data layer and effectively communicate with business units for implementation
- Continually test and develop innovative tracking and analytics methodologies
- Write technical documentation for GA implementations
- Create Data Studio dashboards and provide technical assistance to data analysts for Power BI dashboard creation
- Always be up to date on business results and be aware of industry standards and best practices in marketing technologies
- Develop strategic and operative recommendations for optimizations on the basis of analysis
- Provide support for digital platform product evolution from insights gained and identify opportunities to accelerate growth
- Responsible for developing easy-to-understand, error-free, and timely deliverables aimed to influence and optimize website/app behavior to increase conversion rates
- Follow and optimize the digital product
- development lifecycle and documentation process
- Support in GA solution design optimization and GA4 transition
- Identify new processes to improve the MarTech current deliverables
- Work closely with business stakeholders, act as a knowledge hub and provide consultancy on use case feasibility to ensure deliverables and added value
- Conduct trainings for stakeholders to increase efficiency and for KPI enablement
- Responsible for creating presentations and reports when needed
- Keep an overview of the big picture but also work in detail when needed
- Drive and perform GMP optimizations and developments
- Be an early adopter and bring in new ideas
- Ability to differentiate between required vs. nice-to-have implementations
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience in agile methodologies
- Advanced and strong knowledge of Google Marketing Platform (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager etc.) and related Google Cloud products (Looker Studio etc.)
- Advanced and strong knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
- Other programming languages are a plus
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically

Responsibilities
- Contributes, based on his/her expertise and experience as required on an initiative by initiative basis
- Proactively contributing to squads outside of sprint cycles in an advisory capacity, aiming to improve products from an engagement perspective
- Clearly scoped and trackable initiatives
- Is constantly in touch with the latest market trends and technologies.
- Able to assess and filter new opportunities that can be relevant for Mashreq.
- Constant contact with squads, other expertise teams and other teams within the bank in order to identify gaps and pain points in communications, systems and processes
- Gathers feedback at every stage of an initiative with alignment confirmed from all stake holders from all relevant teams
- Establishes effective feedback loops with all stake holders
- Team members are constantly testing the best messaging with customers across all initiatives and implementing these learnings across all squads and teams as relevant
- Has the skill and knowledge not only on the current (imminent) tech stack but also cognizant of new tools in the market and how these may improve engagement (MarTech, Data, Creative)
- Structures and uses technology to move towards customer journey planning rather than silo'ed, individual channel implementation
Qualifications
- Shows intermediate to advanced skills across standard marketing stacks, specifically but not limited to: Adwords/SA360, DV360, GA360, DCM, Web designer, HTML5 creative, Facebook, Instagram, 3rd party platform partners such as Smartly.
- Has basic to intermediate skills in native marketing automation tools in the above platforms
- Is able to work independently on tasks with multiple stake holders
- Needs to display capability for learning new technologies and processes rather than having all skills from day one. On the job and external training is mostly likely to be a requirement.
- Basic out of scope thinking demonstrated, ability to come up with additional, new engagement ideas and processes
- Ability to execute and optimize engagement campaigns for specific products and initiatives. Basic planning and forecasting is also required
- Typically, this level will have 3-5 years' experience client and/or media agency side in a junior manager/media exec / snr. exec. level
