We are looking for a fast, detail-oriented Content Writer / News Editor to cover the Indian Premier League 2026 season.
This is a high-speed content role focused on match-based news, predictions, and real-time updates. If you understand how sports traffic works and can publish quickly without losing quality — this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Write and publish IPL-related content daily:
Match previews
Live updates
Predictions & betting insights
Post-match reports
Breaking news
Create SEO-optimized articles targeting trending IPL queries
Upload and format content in WordPress (headings, images, internal links, tables)
Update existing articles in real time (scores, lineups, results)
Follow editorial guidelines and content structure
Monitor trending topics and publish fast (speed = priority)
⚡ Requirements
Proven experience in sports news writing (cricket / IPL preferred)
Strong understanding of the IPL ecosystem (teams, players, format)
Experience with WordPress publishing
Ability to write fast, clean, and structured English content
Basic SEO understanding (keywords, headings, internal linking)
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
