[Remote] Payroll Coordinator

Sensiba LLP is a company focused on providing professional services, and they are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This role involves maintaining payroll records, assisting with 401(k) administration, preparing payroll reports, and responding to employee inquiries.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Payroll Manager in processing bi-weekly U.S. payroll and monthly international payrolls
  • Maintain accurate payroll records including timekeeping, deductions, benefits, and tax data
  • Prepare payroll reports for internal review, audits, and compliance purposes
  • Assist with 401(k) data entry, employee contributions, and compliance tracking
  • Manage employee payroll inquiries through the ticketing system, resolving issues related to pay, taxes, deductions, and benefits
  • Support payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including multi-state tax requirements
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve variances in a timely manner
  • Assist with audits and special payroll projects as needed

Skills

  • 1–3 years of payroll experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and payroll/HR systems
  • Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and compliance
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience supporting 401(k) or employee benefits administration
  • Multi-state payroll experience
