Credit Risk Analyst

StoneX Group Inc. is a Fortune 100 company that connects clients to global markets with a focus on innovation and human connection. The Credit Risk Analyst will work with the risk team to identify, analyze, and mitigate credit risk, perform credit reviews, and manage credit data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement analysis to determine the viability, stability, and overall financial health of clients
• Review of accounts, annual reviews, temporary extensions, and waivers and amendments. This includes requests for trading limits, credit lines, margin levels and thresholds for futures, and foreign exchange trading
• Identifying and mitigating key credit issues
• Negotiate risk mitigating instruments, including corporate and personal guarantees
• Liaison with Risk staff for all credit-related issues
• Liaison with Business units for trading limit and line requests
• Responsible for the management of credit data and reporting
• Onboarding of new clients and processing account applications
• Responsibility for and in conjunction with compliance 'Know Your Client' rules and client referential data
• Perform Credit data checks on incoming corporations and individuals

Skills

• 1 to 3 years in credit risk management or related risk management
• Strong analytical skills, especially financial statement analysis
• Strong quantitative skills
• Strong Excel and VBA skills
• Strong writing and English skills
• Data entry, manipulation, and presentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and to multitask
• Judgment and discretion in working with highly confidential information is critical
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Python 3.x (NumPy, Pandas)
• Familiarity with SQL
• Familiarity with Databricks
• GARP Certifications
• CFA
