Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to support our Controllership group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting, as well as contributing to the development of our corporate accounting processes. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of $28-$30 per hour, and the opportunity to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the maintenance of general ledger and the month-end close cycle connected with corporate accounting, including the preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany disposals, intercompany allocations, and related party transactions
• Plan and review reconciliations for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis and perform variance analyses
• Monitor intercompany accounts, address any out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany payments
• Track related party transactions throughout the fiscal year and perform valuation analyses to determine whether related party transactions are at arm's length
• Collaborate with the Financial Planning, Legal, and other groups within Controllership to obtain necessary supporting documentation
• Work directly with the Manager, Financial Accounting - Corporate on ad-hoc management initiatives
• Aid in the preparation of arenaflex's financial statements through the preparation of financial schedules and footnotes
• Research technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memos to document changes in accounting treatment
• Assist in managing internal and external audits by working with requests and preparing status meetings

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• 3 years of accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of urgency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• A combination of public and private work experience
• Experience in SAP
• Entertainment or technology industry experience
• CPA license

Required Education

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required for this position.
