Writer (Remote)

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grant Writer to support workforce development initiatives within the energy sector across New Jersey and New York. This role will play a key part in identifying funding opportunities and developing high-quality proposals that align with strategic workforce and talent development goals. • Research and identify grant opportunities related to workforce development, clean energy, utilities, and skilled trades across federal, New Jersey, and New York funding sources • Monitor grant portals (e.g., Grants.gov, state agencies, foundations) to track upcoming opportunities and deadlines • Evaluate funding opportunities for alignment with organizational workforce initiatives and priorities • Lead the writing, development, and submission of grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and required documentation • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather program details, workforce data, and impact metrics • Maintain a pipeline and tracking system for grant opportunities, submissions, and outcomes • Support post-award reporting and compliance requirements as needed Qualifications: • Proven experience researching and writing successful grant proposals • Background in workforce development, energy, infrastructure, or education-related programs preferred • Familiarity with federal and state grant funding processes • Strong research, writing, and project management skills • Ability to translate technical or workforce initiatives into clear, compelling proposals • Experience working with public sector or utility-related programs is a plus Benefits: • Health Insurance • 401k Pay Range: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
