Senior IAM Integration Engineer (Okta & API Security Specialist)

ThinkMirum is looking for a Senior IAM Integration Engineer to drive complex application integration projects for our enterprise partners. You will be the technical lead for designing and implementing secure identity solutions, focusing on Okta integrations for workforce, customer, and partner ecosystems. A critical component of this role involves managing the secure migration of over 350+ API credentials, requiring a deep understanding of secure vaults and automated password rotation. Key Responsibilities • Stakeholder Leadership: Lead and collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business needs into technical requirements for application integration projects. • Okta Implementation: Design and implement secure integrations using Okta, ensuring all solutions adhere to established security protocols and enterprise standards. • IAM Collaboration: Work closely with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Apigee teams to implement secure vault solutions and automated password rotation. • Large-Scale Migration: Manage the end-to-end migration process for 350+ API credentials, ensuring seamless transitions without service disruption. Qualifications • Identity Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Okta and broader IAM frameworks. • Protocol Mastery: Strong understanding of IAM protocols, including SAML, OAuth, and OIDC. • API Management: Experience with API management platforms (specifically Apigee) and familiarity with credential migration workflows. • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot integration hurdles in complex environments. • Communication: Ability to partner effectively with diverse technical and non-technical teams.
