Financial Crimes Analyst
Randstad is supporting a financial firm's U.S. Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) team who is seeking a Financial Crime Analyst to support their Name Screening Operations function. This team plays a key role in identifying potential financial crime risks by reviewing alerts generated from watchlist screening systems.

Responsibilities
• Review and adjudicate a high volume of financial crime screening alerts related to sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), money services businesses (MSBs), and negative media.
• Analyze potential name matches generated from watchlist screening tools to determine true matches or false positives.
• Conduct due diligence and research using internal systems and external databases to support alert disposition decisions.
• Escalate potential true matches and complex cases to senior investigators or compliance teams in accordance with internal procedures.
• Document investigative findings and decisions clearly and accurately within case management systems.
• Ensure all alert reviews comply with AML, sanctions, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Financial Crime Risk Management to support risk mitigation and compliance initiatives.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while managing a large daily caseload.
• Stay current on financial crime typologies, regulatory updates, and internal policy changes related to AML and sanctions screening.
• Support the Name Screening Operations Center of Excellence by contributing to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
