Reporting directly to the Principal/CEO, the Law Firm Administrator will oversee all administrative functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and fostering a positive and high-performing work environment. Responsibilities
• Foster a culture aligned with company values and mission
• Supervise and lead a team of non-attorney staff, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training, development, and performance management
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to define and execute strategic initiatives
• Act as a strategic advisor in long-term planning and decision-making processes
• Lead the development and implementation of organizational changes
• Oversee day-to-day administrative functions and workflow management
• Collaborate with the CFO on financial oversight, including budgeting and cost-benefit analysis
• Develop, manage, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track performance
• Manage vendor relationships and operational needs in various areas
• Plan and coordinate employee events and off-sites
Qualifications
• 7 years of experience in a law firm administrator or law office operations management role
• 3 years of supervisory experience leading a team of 10+ legal staff
• 3 years of Human Resources experience, including recruitment and hiring
• Experience managing a budget of $5 million or more
• Proven experience in small and mid-sized organizations
• Experience in remote-first work environments is a plus
Education Requirements
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certified Legal Manager (CLM) certification is strongly preferred
