About the position The SAP Developer is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing and maintaining modern, role-based secure web applications that enhance user experience and support business processes at Jetblue Airways. The SAP Developer partners closely with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and peer developers to deliver intuitive, secure, and scalable solutions aligned with SAP Fiori Design Guidelines, best practices and Jetblue Standards. The SAP Developer focuses on applications development using SAP UI5 while integrating with SAP back-end systems like S/4 HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, tConcur tt and othert SAP Products.. Responsibilities • Design, Develop, Test, and Deploy SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 and Fiori Tools. • Customize, enhance and extend standard SAP Fiori applications to meet business requirements. • Develop and Customize SAP Fiori Themes and CSS using UI Theme Designer. • Develop and Consume OData(v2/v4) services using Netweaver Gateway, RAP or CAP methodologies. • Engage in end-to-end application lifecycle management, including deployment to SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) landscapes. • Support SAP S/4 HANA and BTP upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues for applications maintenance and support adhering to change management processes. • Collaborate with functional analysts, business and matrix partners to deliver user-centric applications. • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and solutions documentation. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience. • Three (3) years of experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori development. • Three (3) years of experience working with JavaScript, HTML5, XML, JSON, CSS, and MVC architecture. • Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio and/or Visual Studio Code for SAP Fiori applications development. • Familiarity with SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration, catalogs and role-based access concepts • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, explain technology issues and work progress to both technical and non-technical staff. • Must pass a pre-employment drug test. • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
