We’re hiring a REMOTE CONTRACT Senior Instructional Designer / Learning Program Manager to support a high-visibility External Academy within a fast-paced FinTech environment. This is a strategic contract role blending instructional design, curriculum development, learning strategy, program management, stakeholder alignment, and AI-enabled content development. If you have experience designing enterprise eLearning programs and managing complex learning initiatives end-to-end, this role is for you.
1099 or C2C Contract Details (No W2)
• 6-month contract (strong likelihood of extension)
• 100% Remote (U.S. or Canadian candidates only) with a start date of March 2026
• 40 hours/week
• $65–$75/hour (C2C or 1099), based on experience
• Standard U.S. business hours (EST/CST/MST/PST)

Core Responsibilities (Instructional Design + Program Management)
This is a senior-level hybrid role combining learning strategy, instructional design, and learning program management.
You will:
• Serve as a trusted learning strategist applying systems thinking to enterprise training programs
• Design and develop domain-rich curriculum, eLearning, and blended learning solutions
• Co-create executive dashboards and presentations that communicate learning ROI and business impact
• Define learning KPIs and track measurable success metrics
• Conduct learning data analysis and recommend program improvements
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders and SMEs in a fully remote environment
• Forecast instructional design workload, timelines, and resource planning
• Estimate project scope and manage SLAs
• Bring structure to complex, fast-moving learning initiatives
Curriculum & Learning Program Leadership
• Develop applied learning experiences (workflows, simulations, compliance, real-world practice scenarios)
• Create pre- and post-assessments and evaluation strategies
• Support “test-out” frameworks and competency validation models
• Partner with vendors and contingent workforce Instructional Designers
• Ensure accessibility, retention, and knowledge transfer across diverse learning audiences
AI-Enabled Learning & GenAI Experience
This External Academy values modern, AI-powered workflows.
You will use AI tools to:
• Draft scripts and storyboards
• Build job aids and microlearning assets
• Accelerate research and content development
• Prototype interactive learning experiences
• Analyze learning data and insights
Experience with ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM, AI bots, or similar GenAI tools is strongly preferred.

Leadership & Stakeholder Profile
• 10+ years of instructional design experience
• Experience managing enterprise learning programs
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable presenting learning metrics to senior leadership
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience
• Ability to operate independently in remote environments
