Licensed U.S. Attorney – Personal Injury Pre-Suit Demand & Resolution (Remote)

We are a multi-location personal injury law firm seeking a licensed U.S. attorney to handle a high volume of small-value pre-suit cases from demand through resolution. This is a structured, process-driven role focused on demand drafting, client communication, and moving files efficiently toward resolution within our system. Our case managers and medical records department prepare files so that they are fully organized and ready for demand drafting. The attorney’s role is to evaluate, draft, communicate, and move cases toward resolution in an organized and disciplined manner. All work is performed within our case management system, SmartAdvocate. No external systems are used. ________________________________________ Core Responsibilities 1. Demand Drafting •Review case file prepared by our team • Draft concise, effective demand letters (many are brief due to limited treatment) • Follow firm templates and internal standards • Document all activity within SmartAdvocate 2. Demand Submission & Documentation • Send demands in accordance with firm process • Track carrier response timelines • Maintain clear, organized case notes within SmartAdvocate • Ensure files remain clean and up to date 3. Client Communication • Speak directly with clients to: o Review case value o Explain the process clearly o Obtain settlement authority o Provide updates • Strong, empathetic, and confident communication is essential 4. Adjuster Follow-Up • Monitor responses from adjusters • Ensure files continue moving forward • Maintain consistent communication logs in the system 5. Case Resolution Process • Work within firm procedures to advance files toward settlement • Coordinate with settlement paralegals once authority is obtained • Ensure documentation and communication are properly recorded ________________________________________ Case Profile • Primarily small-value pre-suit injury cases • Many involve limited treatment • Higher-value files may be assigned based on demonstrated performance within our system ________________________________________ Required Qualifications • Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • Personal injury experience required • Experience drafting demands • Comfortable speaking with clients regularly • Strong written communication skills • Ability to follow structured internal processes • Experience using case management systems (SmartAdvocate preferred but not required) • Highly organized and detail-oriented ________________________________________ Work Structure • Remote position • Firm-issued laptop provided • Office VOIP phone line provided • All work conducted within SmartAdvocate • Long-term relationship preferred • Consistent availability during business hours required ________________________________________ What This Role Is • Process-driven • High volume • Structured and supported by internal staff • Client-facing • Results-oriented What This Role Is Not • Not a solo practice environment • Not free-form drafting without oversight • Not administrative-only ________________________________________ To Apply, Please Include: 1.
