Vehicle Transport Planner

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Vehicle Transport Planner to join our growing logistics team. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and optimising the movement of vehicles across the UK, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining exceptional service standards. You will play a key role in route planning, resource allocation and communication with drivers, customers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities • Plan and schedule vehicle collections and deliveries across the UK. • Optimise routes to maximise efficiency and reduce operational costs. • Liaise with drivers regarding schedules, routes and delivery updates. • Monitor vehicle movements and respond proactively to delays or issues. • Ensure compliance with UK transport legislation, including drivers' hours and tachograph regulations. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and suppliers. • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any transport related queries. About You • Previous experience in transport planning, logistics coordination or vehicle movements. • Strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network. • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. • Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines. • Knowledge of compliance requirements within UK transport operations. • *Please note this is a UK based role** Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
