Deputy Chief Investment Officer - General Account (HYBRID)

**Overview:** Equitable is seeking a seasoned Deputy Chief Investment Officer - General Account to join our dynamic investment leadership team. As a key member of the Chief Investment Office, you will play a critical role in managing our investment functions, developing strategic asset allocation targets, and overseeing asset-liability management. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals, drive critical cross-functional initiatives, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. **Responsibilities:** • Develop and oversee asset allocation targets across all asset classes, informed by liability profiles and risk tolerance • Lead the development and implementation of product investment strategies, maintaining close relationships with business areas • Ensure portfolio duration, cash flows, and risk characteristics are aligned with insurance liability obligations • Create and maintain investment guidelines, establish risk limits, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks • Maximize risk-adjusted returns while optimizing regulatory capital requirements (RBC, Solvency II) • Drive portfolio structuring to meet key company OKRs including yield, risk, and capital usage • Analyze portfolio performance drivers, validate returns against strategic objectives, and deliver rigorous attribution analysis with >90% explained variance • Monitor portfolio risk characteristics, identify emerging risks, and provide independent market analysis and investment opportunity assessment • *Qualifications:** • Proven experience in portfolio structuring, communication of goals and tactics, ongoing monitoring of portfolio activities • Demonstrated experience creating and leading engaging presentations for senior management/Board level meetings • Experience leveraging third-party relationships required • Strong understanding of asset and liability management, business acumen, effective communication, and portfolio management • *Benefits:** • Base annual salary range: $275,000 - $350,000 • Comprehensive compensation package, including base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities • Eligibility for a full range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a talented team of professionals • Professional development opportunities and internal mobility to support career growth and advancement Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
