They are seeking a Civil Technician to assist in various phases of project development, including planning, design, and construction, while collaborating with engineers and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in various phases of project development, such as planning, design, and construction
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data for projects
  • Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals on project teams
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in civil engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
  • Certification as a Civil Engineering Technician
  • Experience with GIS software
  • Knowledge of state and local building codes
  • OSHA certification for construction safety
