Proofreader
Need someone to proofread transcripts to the audio. Will be looking for any errors, missing words, etc. and will edit transcript as necessary. Will need to be aware of speakers and if one is identified incorrectly. Grammar may need editing. Strong command of English required.
Must have software to listen to audio and follow along in Word to edit transcripts. Transcription software of some sort needed.
Types of files include:
• Legal (all types of crimes and hearings)
• Academic
• General business
• Medical
• Board meetings - minutes creation may be needed
Will need 1099 filled out prior to work. Contractor work only.
Need someone immediately. Lots of work, dedicated person with quick turnarounds.
