Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Digital Chat Agent to work remotely and moderate online chat rooms and forums. As a Digital Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all users, responding to user inquiries and concerns, and enforcing community guidelines and rules. This is a part-time remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world. We offer a competitive salary of $25-$35 an hour, based on experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring Online Chat Rooms and Forums: Regularly monitor online chat rooms and forums to identify any inappropriate user behavior, utilize monitoring tools to track user activity, and understand the platform's functions, features, and policies.
- Enforcing Chat Room and Forum Guidelines: Familiarize yourself with the platform's rules on hate speech, harassment, and inappropriate content, use tact, diplomacy, and excellent communication skills to enforce the rules, and apply warnings, sanctions, or bans in a fair and consistent manner.
- Responding to User Inquiries and Concerns: Promptly address user inquiries and concerns, provide accurate and helpful information regarding the platform's features, policies, and technical issues, resolve any issues users might encounter, and ensure a positive user experience on the platform.
- Documenting User Interactions and Maintaining Records: Keep detailed records of user interactions, document any issues or incidents that occur on the platform, record the actions taken to resolve these issues, track user behavior over time, and create a reference for future use and potential legal or regulatory purposes.
Requirements
