Payroll Specialist- Remote

Seeking a payroll administrator to collaborate with the HR coordinator in processing payroll for a high quantity of employees. This position is 100% remote, part-time, and flexible in the hours the selected candidate will work. Experience with Dayforce/ Ceridien is highly preferred. There is a maximum of 20 hours a week for the position. salary: $25 - $28 per hour shift: First work hours: 9 AM - 2 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Key Qualifications & Requirements • Software Expertise: Proficiency in Ceridian/ Dayforce is highly preferred. • Payroll Complexity: Proven experience managing Multi-State payroll (this role covers 40 states). • Industry Experience: Prior experience handling construction-side labor requirements is highly preferred. • Volume: Experience managing payroll for at least 200+ employees across multiple entities/operating companies. • Frequency: Comfortable managing both weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles simultaneously. Schedule & Availability • Commitment: 10–20 hours per week (guaranteed 20 hours available for the right candidate). • Critical Days: Must be available every Monday and Friday for a minimum of 5 hours each day to handle primary processing. • Flexibility: Intermittent availability Tuesday–Thursday to respond to emails and handle payroll adjustments/questions. • Location: 100% Remote.
