Business Impact & Risk Management Specialist

Our client is looking for a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Management Specialist to join their team to strengthen our organization's operational resilience. This role is responsible for identifying and assessing business risks and conducting Business Impact Analyses to ensure the organization can effectively respond to and recover from disruptions. You will conduct and maintain Business Impact Analyses across critical business functions, identify critical processes, dependencies, recovery time objectives (RTO), and recovery point objectives (RPO) and document and update impact assessments as business operations evolve. From a risk management perspective, you will identify , assess, and document operational, technology, and third-party risks and support enterprise risk assessments and risk mitigation planning. You will maintain risk registers and track remediation activities and assist with regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements related to risk and resilience. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and able to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams. Required Skills & Experience - 3+ years of experience in BIA and Risk Management - Strong understanding of business continuity frameworks and best practices - Experience facilitating risk assessments and recovery planning workshops - Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills - Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Certifications such as CBCP, CBCI, ISO 22301, CRISC, CISM, or similar • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity concepts • Experience supporting audits and regulatory examinations Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
