Internship Overview
The Junior Graphic Designer Intern will support the creative team by designing and producing visual assets for digital and print platforms. This role focuses on graphic design, brand application, and visual storytelling across multiple communication channels.
This internship is designed for individuals seeking practical experience, professional development, and/or college credit.
This is a volunteer, part-time internship and does not lead to paid employment.

Responsibilities
• Design and produce visual content for digital and print platforms, including social media graphics, web assets, flyers, and advertisements
• Assist with the creation and refinement of branded materials such as logos, icons, templates, and promotional graphics
• Apply brand guidelines consistently across all design projects
• Develop creative concepts that align with project goals and visual standards
• Edit and revise designs based on feedback from supervisors, team members, and stakeholders
• Manage multiple design tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications
• Completion of at least 32 college credit hours in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and/or Illustrator
• Understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to apply brand guidelines consistently across multiple formats
• Experience creating graphics optimized for social media platforms (academic or project-based experience acceptable)
• Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail
• Comfortable learning new tools in a remote environment
• Availability for up to 15 hours per week
• Must currently reside in the United States
Prior coursework, academic projects, internships, or personal writing samples may be considered relevant experience.
