**Experienced Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative – Patient-Centric Resolution and Financial Performance Optimization**

**Job Summary:**
As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, resolving patient balances, and maximizing financial performance for our healthcare clients. You will work closely with patients, guarantors, insurance carriers, and attorneys to resolve Self Pay, Self-Pay After Insurance, and Payment Plan accounts receivable. Your primary focus will be on providing patient-centric support, resolving issues efficiently, and creating a positive patient experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Field inbound patient calls, responding to their concerns and resolving issues in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner
* Manage assigned inventory through the proper and timely cycling of Dispositional Segments within arenaflex's workflow solution or the client's software solution(s)
* Consistently meet the Total Touches per Day target for both patients and guarantors, as determined by the assigned Segment of A/R and other client nuances and considerations
* Accurately set up Payment Plans with patients per client guidelines
* Secure payments and partial payments with patients per client guidelines
* Perform account research and resolution on Self Pay, FAP, and Insurance topics in a timely and results-oriented fashion
* Consistently document all patient encounters in arenaflex's workflow solution and/or the client's source system
* Perform initial assessments for Financial Assistant Programs per client guidelines
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients, leaders, and staff
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* HIPAA and related Privacy and Security Acts and Regulations knowledge
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and targets
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
* Familiarity with healthcare software solutions and workflow management systems
* Certification in customer service or a related field
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
