Professional Learning Lead, Northeast

IXL Learning, a developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Professional Learning Lead to manage a small team within the Northeast region.<br><br>As a Professional Learning Lead, you’ll lead, manage, and motivate a small team of District Partnership Specialists and Professional Learning Specialists. You’ll oversee professional development and district implementations across New York and New Jersey, ensuring districts receive exceptional, consistent support that drives IXL usage and student growth. In addition to managing a small team, you’ll own a small number of district accounts yourself, working directly with districts to support their implementation and deliver professional development.<br><br>We are looking for an experienced team lead who has led and developed teams focused on implementation support and professional development for K-12 educators. You must be highly organized, well-spoken, strategic, and eager to lead and develop a collaborative, high-energy team.<br><br><strong>This is a full-time remote position for candidates living in New York City or North Jersey. <br><br></strong><strong>What You'll Be Doing<br><br></strong><ul><li>Stay informed on statewide initiatives impacting K-12 schools and districts within New York and New Jersey, and ensure IXL implementations and professional development are aligned</li><li>Create and maintain a positive culture that drives performance and outcomes</li><li>Collaborate closely with the sales team to strategize and grow customer relationships in New York and New Jersey</li><li>Partner with district leaders in New York and New Jersey to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation aligned to their goals </li><li>Travel to support districts, provide professional development, and observe team members—up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year</li><li>Regularly observe professional development and provide actionable feedback to your team</li><li>Analyze and use data to drive decision-making and strategize next steps<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We're Looking For<br><br></strong><ul><li>BA/BS degree</li><li>2+ years of experience leading a professional development team</li><li>K-12 teaching experience</li><li>An experienced people manager who fosters collaboration, builds a positive team culture, and helps others grow</li><li>Exceptional presentation skills; comfortable presenting to teachers and administrators </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude</li><li>Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish</li><li>Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology</li><li>Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills</li><li>Must live close to a major airport<br><br></li></ul><em>The base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 to $125,000 + potential bonus eligibility + benefits. </em><em>Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
