Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and laws. Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews to identify potential areas of risk and non-compliance. Collaborate with various departments within the medical center to ensure consistent understanding and adherence to compliance standards. Monitor changes in laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant staff members. Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance issues and provide guidance and support to staff members. Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees, ensuring that all staff members are knowledgeable and up-to-date on compliance requirements. Analyze and evaluate compliance data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. Investigate and respond to compliance concerns and incidents, taking appropriate corrective action when necessary. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and external partners to stay informed and up-to-date on compliance standards and expectations. Participate in the development and implementation of compliance initiatives and strategies to improve overall compliance performance. Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance activities, including training, audits, and investigations. Serve as a resource for staff members to address any compliance-related questions or concerns. Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of the effectiveness of compliance programs and make recommendations for improvement. Stay current on industry best practices and share knowledge and insights with colleagues and staff members.
