Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team at arenaflex. Your day will be filled with purpose as you perform order entry tasks, collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and provide exceptional customer service in our closed-door pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform order entry tasks with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure seamless medication dispensing processes.
  • Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and required response.
  • Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions.
  • Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing.
  • Provide dispensing pharmacists with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other flagged items.
  • Create and maintain accurate customer records.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications

  • Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law.
  • One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a call center environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
  • PTCB National Certification.
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.

Compensation and Perks

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour, depending on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
