DealCloud Consultant – Private Equity CRM Assessment

Job Description:
Our client, a management consulting firm, is supporting a top-tier Private Equity firm based in California. The PE firm uses DealCloud as its CRM for fundraising and investor relations. We are looking for a DealCloud Consultant to perform a comprehensive assessment of their current platform configuration, identify areas of improvement, and provide strategic recommendations aligned with private equity best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct a full-scale assessment of the client’s existing DealCloud configuration.
· Evaluate data model structures, workflow automation, reporting/dashboarding tools, and UI alignment with fundraising and investor relations workflows.
· Identify inefficiencies, gaps, or underutilized capabilities within the platform.
· Recommend improvements and best practices tailored to private equity needs.
· Present findings and a strategic roadmap to client stakeholders.
· (Optional, if scoped in) Provide hands-on reconfiguration and enhancement of the DealCloud platform.
Required Qualifications:
· Proven expertise in DealCloud, ideally within a private equity or investment management environment.
· Strong knowledge of fundraising workflows, investor relations, and PE industry standards.
· Prior experience conducting CRM assessments or implementing DealCloud.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical insights to both business and technical audiences.
· Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working directly with private equity firms or financial sponsors.
· Familiarity with data governance, dashboard/reporting frameworks, and pipeline tracking within DealCloud.
