YOU SHOULD HAVE: Required Shopify & eCommerce Development Expertise: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Shopify Websites Development. • Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization. • Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language. • Experience creating custom sections from scratch and developing reusable front-end components within Shopify themes. • Advanced knowledge of Metafields, Metaobjects, and the Shopify Search & Discovery app. • Proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc.). • Familiarity with Shopify CLI for efficient theme development and deployment. • Proficiency with the Shopify Storefront Graph QL API (understanding of both Admin and Storefront API layers is a strong plus). Core Web Development Skills: • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/ECMAScript. • Expertise in JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery). • A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues. • A strong understanding of responsive web design techniques. • An understanding of W3C web standards, semantics, and accessibility guidelines. Preferred Qualifications: • A Shopify Certification (Preferred). • Knowledge of SCSS (preferred). • Experience with Word Press, Magento, and Big Commerce (preferred). • Experience with Ruby (preferred). • Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL and AJAX (preferred). YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS: The Shopify Developer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality eCommerce sites on the Shopify platform. Key duties include: • Developing custom Shopify themes. • Building custom sections, blocks, and components to enhance site functionality and user experience. • Optimizing and extending core Shopify theme features with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Leveraging the Shopify Storefront Graph QL API to implement advanced features beyond standard Liquid capabilities. • Integrating and customizing third-party apps and extensions within Shopify themes and the checkout process. • Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify. • Extending Shopify’s functionalities using storefront APIs, Liquid programming, and meta fields. • Setting up payment integration, shipping methods, and taxes in the Shopify platform. • Ensuring page speed optimization of Shopify sites. • Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites. • Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3… Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
