Private Credit Analyst

Abacus Finance Group, LLC is a leading private credit fund focused on senior debt financing to private equity-backed operating company investments. The Private Credit Analyst will assist with structuring and executing senior debt financing transactions, perform extensive underwriting due diligence, and manage assigned portfolio investments. Responsibilities Develop initial screening materials, draft term sheet proposals, perform extensive underwriting due diligence, prepare and seek formal loan approval and assist in closing of transactions Prepare comprehensive loan package including write-up of issuer and transaction financial analysis, industry and market trend analysis, financial modeling, and presentation of the potential investment to the investment committee Manage assigned portfolio investments to monitor account performance monitor/report on assigned portfolio and ensure compliance with covenants and other loan documents Create presentations for both internal and external use as well as other special strategy related projects that may arise Assist in external fundraising efforts, third party investor reporting, and ad-hoc requests Skills Bachelor's degree Superior academic record and job performance 1-3 years professional experience in banking, private credit and/or private equity Excellent excel and modelling skills Strong written and verbal presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively and think independently Immediate hire Willingness to travel Formal credit training and experience working in small deal teams (2-3 deal team members) Benefits Annual bonus Profit sharing Pension plan Health benefits Ability to invest in future funds 401K Company Overview Abacus Finance Group, LLC is a New York-based private specialty finance company focused exclusively on providing cash flow-based, senior secured debt solutions to private equity-sponsored, lower-middle market companies nationwide.
