Game Artist (remote Europe)

About the role We are looking for a talented Game Artist, experienced with static art, with a passion for painting, design and illustration to join our Art team. You will be part of a dynamic and creative environment where challenges never get boring Responsibilities • Be in close collaboration with the Product Owner to design and illustrate characters, backgrounds, game boards and user interfaces elements • Push creative projects from concept to final execution • Create designs, concepts, mock-ups consistent with the art direction • Proactive management of time and work towards deadlines • The ability to match and define a variety of art styles throughout the game’s development • Strong traditional artistic skills Requirements • Have 3-5 years of experience as a game graphics artist or from other relevant areas • Experience in the iGaming (or similar) industry • Can show a strong portfolio with a wide range of high-quality 2D artwork in different styles • You are a driven, creative and organized person with an interest in games • Strong understanding of Art fundamentals such as color theory, composition, shape language • Skills in graphic design (logos, fonts, texts, frames, buttons ) are welcomed • Fluent in Photoshop & possess a strong capacity to learn new tools • Ability to tackle challenges and solve problems with a strong sense of ownership Fluent in English Nice to have • 3D modeling/sculpting and animation (any 3D software) • 2D animation (Spine) • Special effects (After Effects or other software) Good to know • We kindly ask for your understanding that we can only consider applicants within the the Central European Timezone (CET) +/-2 • Please make sure to submit your portfolio with your application in order to be considered • This full-time position can be a permanent employment in Malta or on a freelance basis for contractors Why Work for Booming Games Founder led.
