Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Connecting with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate to ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Responding to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems and Windows operating systems
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Logical problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex issues
  • Organization and work prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities

Work from Home Requirements

To work from home as a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Internet Connection Requirements:
    • Minimum subscribed download rate equal to or exceeds 12.0 Mbps
    • Minimum subscribed upload rate equal to or exceeds 3.0 Mbps
