[Remote] Senior Data Engineer, Real Time + Batch Data Processing (REMOTE)

They are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures, leveraging cloud technologies and modern data processing tools to support data-driven initiatives. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and deliver appropriate solutions • Implement data models and architecture to support analytics and reporting • Optimize data storage and processing performance using cloud technologies like Azure and Databricks • Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes for managing data workflows • Ensure data integrity and security across all data solutions • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, AI/ML, and IoT to improve operational efficiency Skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field • Real Time streaming (Flink) + Batch Data Processing experience • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java • Strong experience with big data processing tools like SPARK and streaming technologies like Kafka • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Experience in AI/ML frameworks like Tensorflow and PyTorch is a bonus • Familiarity with IoT data processing and architecture is a bonus Benefits • FULLY REMOTE • HUGE room for growth • QUICK interview process • Competitive pay + bonus + Generous benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, HSA Accounts) • 401k match • Stock purchase Plans • Healthy work/life balance Company Overview • CyberCoders is a recruiting firm locating job positions across all industries, including finance, education, engineering and healthcare.
