Network Engineer – Remote

We have an immediate opening for a remote Network Engineer, where you’ll play a hands-on role in deploying enterprise-level wired and wireless networks for clients across industries, including pharmaceutical, healthcare, enterprise, retail, education, supply chain, and more. What you’ll do As a Network Engineer, you’ll provide the technical know-how and guidance to craft tailored network strategies for our clients. Your day-to-day will include: • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network switches, wireless controllers, and access points. • Support troubleshooting of network connectivity issues (LAN, WLAN). • Perform large wireless deployments within enterprise-level environments under the guidance of senior engineers. • Support Cisco ISE and other network access control policy platforms. • Document network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures. • Participate in clients’ change control procedures and processes What you need to thrive in this role You’ll join a proven team delivering custom network designs to clients worldwide. Key qualifications include: • Experience: 5+ years working with (Cisco or similar) networking technologies (wired and/or wireless). • Basic understanding of core networking concepts: IPAM, VLANs, STP, routing Protocols. • Familiarity with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE Catalyst, and/or AireOS platforms. • Ability to troubleshoot layer 1–3 network issues. • Location: Remote position with limited travel to company events • Other required skills: • Strong documentation and communication. • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work collaboratively with teammates and cross-functional departments. • Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence. We also value: • Certifications: Cisco CCNA, Aruba Campus Access, CWNA (or actively working toward certification). • Experience: Cisco Prime, DNA Center, Cisco Meraki, Aruba Gateway or Central, or similar platforms. • Enterprise or large campus network environments. • Familiarity with formal change control processes. • ServiceNow or other change management platforms.
