A Day in the Role

As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in processing various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Extracting data from medical documents and entering it into our electronic database via Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
  • Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion
  • Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
  • Providing exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone
  • Working in a metrics/quota-driven environment and meeting productivity standards

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing medical documents in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our electronic database
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and responding to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives
  • Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of remote work experience
  • Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting productivity standards
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace
  • Own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
