Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction drives everything we do, and we are seeking talented individuals who share our passion and values. **Key Responsibilities** As an External Support Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Providing technical support to content/external teams in regards to the use of content tools, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed * Creating reference materials and providing training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, empowering them to work independently and efficiently * Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity * Escalating more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team, and working with production to track these issues in JIRA, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration * Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation * Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality, driving business outcomes and customer satisfaction * Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, leveraging your expertise and influencing the development of new tools and processes * Exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions, setting a high standard for yourself and your team **Essential Skills and Abilities** To succeed in this role, you will need: * The ability to read and understand C# code, with a solid foundation in programming principles and software development * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with external partners and stakeholders * A positive attitude and the ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback, fostering a culture of growth and development * Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues * Self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, driving results and delivering high-quality outcomes **Education and Experience** We are seeking candidates with: * A Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in software development and engineering principles * Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support and resolving complex issues * Unity 3D game and tool development experience, with a solid understanding of game development principles and software engineering best practices * Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, with a strong understanding of agile development methodologies and project management principles * iOS and Android mobile development experience, with a solid understanding of mobile app development principles and software engineering best practices * 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software and resolving complex issues **Position Type/Expected Hours of Work** Our core hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm CST, which means you should be available for meetings and collaborations during this time.
