Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst II to join our arenaflex Data Ventures team. As a Data Analyst II, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing data-driven insights to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, and data engineers, to design and implement data solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data processes to support business intelligence and analytics
• Design and implement data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and trends to business stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business growth and improvement
• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Math, Arts, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze complex data sets
• Experience with languages used to manipulate and analyze large data sets, such as SQL, Python, Presto, and others
• Strong data visualization skills, with experience using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and others
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Math, or a related field
• Experience in the retail or finance industries, with a strong understanding of business operations and data analysis
• Experience with data quality tools, such as Google DataPlex, Collibra Data Quality, or SAS Data Management
• Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca
• Experience building multi-step ETL jobs and data pipelines, with a strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Google Bigquery or Hive
